Charleston August 13th 1819 We the com tee of the Medical Society of South Carolina, having examined the Diploma of Doctr St. John Phillips do hereby authorize him to practise Physic + Surgery in all their branches, agreeably to an act of the Legislature Jos. Johnson M.D. Thomas G. Prioleau M.D. Jas. Moultrie Jr. M.D. Thos Akins M.D.
