Directors of Roper Hospital, Inc., and Roper Health Services,

Vote on Proposed Amendments to the Medical Society of SC Bylaws:
See attached listing of proposed changes.
For information:
A. The Board of Directors decided that the Bylaws should be "extended" to include the a representative from the Department of Orthopedics on the Committee n Medical Education. No amendment to the Bylaws needed.
B. The Roper Hospital and Health Services' Board also approved a motion that the Bylaws of the Hospital be amended to limit the term of physician members of the Board to two consecutive five-year terms, and to limit the term of laymembers of the Board to three consecutive five-year terms.
10. Adjournment to a reception, dinner and program
