The regular meeting of the Medical Society of South Carolina was called to
order by the
President, Dr. Harold S. Pettit at 7:00 P. M., Thursday, February 20, 1969
at the Country
Club of Charleston.

read by the Secretary and were approved as read.

REPORT OF OFFICERS AND COiyBfITTEES
"Since the November 20, 1968, meeting of the Medical Society of South
Carolina, the following
are developments within the hospital, and action by the Board of
Commissioners, which I
believe may be of interest for the Februar"j 20th meeting of the Society:
The report of the Board of Commissioners was presented by Mr. C. Robb,
Administrator of
Roper Hospital. This report is as follows:
1 - The hospital consiis has returned to normal followin,7- a drop from
about the middle of
December through the first ten days of January. Hospital operations
continue to show eL
surplus. The audit for the year 1967-68 has been completed and submitted to
the Board of
Commissioners.
2 - The Board of Commissioners has reviewed the revised Findings of Fact
and Court Order in
connection with the Civil Suit filed against the Hospital. It has been
recommended that the Order
be signed by both parties.
