| Description | Intraductal carcinoma of breast. Central cystic space is present in an area of somewhat variegated nodular tissue, indicated by arrows, containing very small cysts distinct in appearance compared to the majority of the rest of the specimen. The central cystic space may be the site of a previous biopsy. Grossly, one cannot see intraductal carcinoma with certainty in this specimen. |
