Description	Black and white illustration of the valvulotome instrument at the point of insertion during the valvulotomy procedure. An inset illustration of the open and closed valvulotome appears in the bottom, left corner of the parent illustration. Captions highlight the anatomy o the heart and structure of the valvulotome. "L. Schlossberg" appears in the bottom, right corner of the parent illustration. Printed on photograph quality paper. Captions identify the left auricular appendage, right ventricle, left coronary vessel, left phrenic nerve, left ventricle, pericardium, pleura, and the rotation of the heart to the right by traction on the pericardium.
